When signing your lease we require a security deposit equal to one month’s rental rate and your first month’s pro-rated amount from the day your specify as your start date.
We require all of our tenants to provide a copy of the current boater’s insurance showing that the vessel has a minimum coverage of $300,000 in liability insurance. It is the tenant’s responsibility to ensure that the Marina Office has a valid copy on file for the duration of your stay. Your insurance carrier is welcome to send it to the Marina Office.
Billing is in advance, due at the first of every month. As of January 1, 2018, all of South Shore Harbour Marina slip rentals and applicable charges are to be paid by automatic payment method by credit or debit card. If you have questions regarding this policy you may e-mail the Marina Manager, Donna Rogers, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Should you decide to leave the Marina for any reason at all, we require a minimum 30-day vacate notice that can be given via e-mail, fax, phone, or in person at the Marina Office. Once the month that you are intending to vacate in ends, and we see that your boat has been removed from the Marina, we will return your security deposit less any applicable charges that include but are not limited to, past monthly rental fees or electricity charges.
*In the event that a credit card has been denied and payment has not been made by the 28th of the month the account will incur a $10 late fee
