Our members escape to a tropical paradise where palm trees tower above a 185' free form tropical pool with cascading water wall, swim up bar, Jacuzzi, and poolside shaded patio with food service available. You can enjoy live music or DJs during the summer months. Guests feel like they are on vacation in a tropical resort. Members also have private restrooms, showers and a laundry room.
The fuel pier offers Valv-Tect premium marine gasoline and diesel and also has two fast pump out stations which are free to members.
There are many exciting events in the marina. Members enjoy a crawfish boil every April, an Independence Day BBQ and celebration, and the Southwest International In-Water Boat Show in September. This is the first Miami-style boat show in the Bay Area. Many members enjoy entertaining either on the piers or in the resort, or just meeting and having fun with new and old friends.
From breakfast to casual dining, you will be pleased with the two on-site dining options at South Shore Harbour Resort and Conference Center -- Paradise Reef and The Lobby Lounge. World-renowned Chef Roland Kyburz and his culinary team have developed mouth-watering menus that will tempt your palate. Each cozy venue is complimented by a view of the marina so all who visit will be offered a relaxing experience. The restaurants will also make take-out orders for your boat trips or dining on the dock.
Marina members can receive discounted passes to The Fitness Center at South Shore Harbour. A 130,000 square foot scientifically advanced facility, The Fitness Center features indoor and outdoor tracks and tennis courts, a regulation size gymnasium, an aerobic dance studio, a workout area with weights and machines, a nursery for moms and dads, an indoor lap pool and a heated spa. Certified fitness instructors assist members with health & fitness programs designed to meet individual needs. Massages and other services are available at the new Bella Vita day spa.
Our members enjoy dining privileges at South Shore Harbour Country Club. The unique restaurant has breathtaking views of one of the finest golf courses in the area.
The Marina is conveniently located close to Randall's, Blockbuster Video, Walgreen's, McDonald's, Quizno's, Papa John's, banking facilities, convenience store/gas station, post office, hair salon, and laundry / dry cleaners. The Marina is just 10 minutes to Baybrook Mall and 20 minutes to Hobby Airport. There are even two farmer's markets every weekend close by.
